Sodium Hypochlorite REACH consortium
The major European manufacturers of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) have joined efforts for their REACH compliance activities and have launched in February 2009 the Sodium Hypochlorite REACH consortium following one year of preparatory work.
The members of the consortium have agreed to collaborate under the leadership of Arkema France in the preparation of a joint registration dossier for sodium hypochlorite as required by the REACH regulation. The Sodium Hypochlorite REACH consortium consists of a Steering Committee, Executive Committee and Technical Committee.
The consortium is being administered by ReachCentrum.
