The manufacturers of Adipic Acid have joined efforts for their REACH compliance activities and launched in 2008 the Adipic Acid REACH consortium.
The Adipic Acid REACH Consortium manages the EU-REACH registration of the substances Adipic acid, Carboxylic acids, HMD, AH salt, Adiponitrile, DCH, BHT, MPMD and BHMT. The project management and secretariat of the consortium is handled by ReachCentrum.

The Adipic Acid REACH consortium is open to manufacturers, importers and only representatives as defined in the REACH Regulation. The consortium works on registration dossiers for all substances indicated. Operational costs are shared equally among the members. For an appropriate fee the consortium offers a Letter of Access to the registration dossiers managed.
Downstream users and other data holders are invited to play an active role in the work of the consortium.
