ReachCentrum is looking for a Manager for the Support Services group overseeing the work of project managers and also supporting customers by managing the entire administration of the consortium.
ReachCentrum is the Cefic subsidiary aiming to assist industries to become compliant with the REACH regulation on chemical substances and the Biocidal Product regulation. REACH mandates chemical companies to register their substances manufactured or imported in the EU in a joined effort with other potential registrants of the same substance. In order to prepare the necessary communication and decision making processes companies organize themselves in REACH consortia or SIEF leadership teams.
Consortia exist in various stages: some are working on registrations for 2018 while others are in post registration phase either in maintenance of activities or Substance evaluation/dossier compliance. As well, there are consortia set up for authorization under REACH.
The biocidal Product regulation is requiring that manufacturers of Biocidal products are getting an authorisation for staying on the EU market or putting new Biocidal Products on the EU market.
Currently ReachCentrum is managing about 100 consortia and the demand is growing. It is also expected that many companies require support with the 2018 deadline registration not necessarily organized in a consortium. As a result ReachCentrum is seeking an experienced manager who can manage consortium projects as well coordinate activities of 5 enthusiastic project managers.
The Support Services Manager oversees the work of project managers and also supports customers by managing the entire administration of the consortium. This position requires solid management and financial skills and depending on the stage a project is in, sound project management experience, high level of executing administrative responsibilities and financial skills.
ReachCentrum has extended its product portfolio over the past years and intends to further develop new services. As part of the role, the successful candidate will contribute in the development of the services.

The Support Services Manager is responsible for the acquisition, planning, assigning of projects, takes care of project management of new and existing consortia and supports other type of projects.
