Letters of Access (LoA) - Access to consortia dossiers

ReachCentrum has launched the “Letter of Access Module”, a new business service allowing companies to participate in the joint submission of registration dossiers under REACH.

The new tool simplifies and automates the task of delivering Letters of Access to the SIEF members. Via a brand new digital invoice system, buying access to a registration dossier and the corresponding delivery of the Letter of Access is ensured in a secured and transparent way.

SIEF members purchasing a Letter of Access usually get access to :

  • the Joint Registration Dossier
    • the studies and data included in the Joint Registration Dossier
    • the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA), Chemical Safety Report (CSR) and Guidance on Safe Use when they are part of the Joint Registration Dossier.

How to use the tool

In order to access the website, companies need to open an account for which they need their company UUID. Once the account is created and the password is chosen, the user will receive an e-mail with a link to activate the account. The created account will then automatically link the company with the substances for which a Letter of Access is available to purchase.
If agreed within the SIEF, the consortium can also use the tool to make available other documents, such as IUCLID, to the companies that have paid. In that case they can receive those documents together with the token in a separate e-mail.

LoA

The system allows for the electronic signing of the SIEF Agreement, in place in most SIEFs, and subsequent electronic payment of the LoAs.
To proceed to payment, the use of a credit card is one option, the other being bank transfers. After the invoice has been sent out and the payment has been accepted by our Accountancy Department, the system will send out to the purchaser the LoA and the token per SIEF. For the use of the LoA Module by the SIEF member a handling fee is added to the total costs of the Letter of Access. Click here to download the Guidance for use of ReachCentrum LoA Shop.
