The manufacturers, importers and only representatives of Sodium Percarbonate join efforts for their REACH compliance activities and have launched on January 22nd 2009 their Sodium Percarbonate REACH consortium.

Consortium description
Through the Sodium Percarbonate REACH consortium, the manufacturers, importers and only representatives have decided to join efforts to prepare consistent registration dossiers, building on the experience gained during the OECD/HPV program and the HERA project for Sodium Percarbonate. The project management and secretariat of the consortium will be handled by ReachCentrum. The technical content preparation of the registration dossier will be managed by Solvay Chemicals GmbH (Lead Company or LC) and Harlan Laboratories (Consultant).

Membership
Manufacturers/ importers/ only representatives as defined in the REACH Regulation of the substance on its own, in preparations or in articles and who are subject to the registration requirements pursuant to the REACH Regulation, or Affiliates thereof and who participate in the consortium. Membership is open to any applicant fulfilling the membership criteria. The Sodium Percarbonate REACH consortium is open to any European company manufacturing the above mentioned substance as well as importer or only representative of the above mentioned substance.

All manufacturers/importers or only representatives, having data important for the dossier compilation are invited to contact the consortium secretariat as soon as possible to discuss access to the data.
