The manufacturers of Polymerisable Acrylate Resins and Derivatives have joined efforts for their REACH compliance activities and have launched in January 2009 the PARAD REACH consortium.

Consortium description
To prepare a consistent REACH registration dossier for each substance handled by the consortium, the management of the PARAD consortium will be headed by ReachCentrum.

Substances covered
The substances to be registered and covered in the PARAD REACH consortium can be found in the following list of substances. The present list is not closed and may undergo changes. Priority is focused on the substances which need to be registered by December 2010.

Membership
The PARAD REACH consortium structure includes a Steering Committee, a Technical Committee, CIG (Common Interest Groups) and the consortium management by ReachCentrum. PARAD consortium is open to manufacturers/ importers and only representatives as defined in the REACH Regulation of the substance on its own, in preparations or in articles and that are subject to the registration requirements pursuant to the REACH Regulation, or affiliates thereof.

Membership is open to any applicant fulfilling the membership criteria. The PARAD consortium is also open to any European and non-European companies manufacturing or importing Acrylates and Methacrylates substances, which are similar to one or several of the substances covered. Downstream users and other data holders are invited to play an active role in the work of the consortium.
