The manufacturers of maleic anhydride have joined efforts for their REACH compliance activities and have launched the maleic anhydride REACH consortium.

The following substance will be registered under the REACH legislation by December 2010:

Membership
The consortium is open to any manufacturer, importer or only representative as defined in the REACH regulation of the substance on its own, in preparations or in articles and that are subject to the registration requirements pursuant to REACH. The process of registration is complex, so we are asking that companies only apply to join the consortium if they can contribute towards the registration process, i.e. companies that are in Phase 1 of REACH or have significant data.
