The manufacturers, importers, only representatives of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) join efforts for their REACH compliance activities and have launched on January 22nd 2009 the H2O2 REACH consortium.

Consortium description
Through the H2O2 REACH consortium, manufacturers, importers and only representatives have decided to join efforts to prepare consistent registration dossiers, building on the experience gained during the EU Risk Assessment Report and on the HERA report for H2O2.

The project management and secretariat of the consortium will be handled by ReachCentrum. The technical content preparation of the registration dossier will be managed by:

• Evonik Degussa GmbH (Lead Company or LC)
• HARLAN Laboratories (Consultant)

Membership
Members of the consortium are manufacturers/ importers/ only representatives as defined in the REACH Regulation of the substance on its own, in preparations or in articles and who are subject to the registration requirements pursuant to the REACH Regulation, or Affiliates thereof and who participate in the consortium.

Membership is open to any applicant fulfilling the membership criteria. The H2O2 REACH consortium is open to any European companies manufacturing the above mentioned substances as well as importers of the above mentioned substance. All manufacturers/importers or only representatives, having data important for the dossier compilation are invited to contact the consortium secretariat as soon as possible to discuss access to the data.
